Director of FDI Research Center Professor Lu Jinyong had accepted interview of CCTV's "Focus" program by reporters of Lian Jia and Wu Shaojun on August 8, 2009. The theme of the interview is "The Impact of World's Top 500 and Analysis about China’s Telecom Companies in World's Top 500". In the interview, director Lu Jinyong analyzed the influence of World's Top 500, and pointed out that China's economic development and improvement of living standards are the basis for the rapid development of telecom industry. Additionally, he said that the sustainable development of the telecom industry result in China's telecom enterprises entering into the list of World's Top 500. The interview was part of the first episode of series interview program named "Witness an Extraordinary 60 Years" broadcast on CCTV to celebrate the 60th anniversary of China. This interview program was broadcast on the "Focus" program in the evening of August 11, 2009 and rebroadcast in the following day.
