Thanks to the outstanding contributions on the study of foreign direct investment, and planning and training of attracting foreign investments, the director of CRCFDI Lu Jinyong was appointed Vice Director-general of the Directorate of Asia Fortune Forum last year. Asia Fortune Forum with its headquarter in Hong Kong, is a professional organization for Asia and the Pacific region, which aims to promote investment cooperation in Asia and the Pacific region, economic research, the forum summit, technology consultation, exhibition, conference tourism and other activities for the purpose of promoting economic and social development of the Asia-Pacific region. It sets up the cooperation platform for government, enterprises, financial institutions and chambers (associations) to promote economic and trade exchanges among the region and between the region and the rest of the world.

 In recent years, Asia Fortune Forum has held several professional forums, Business Sharon and other activities in the Asia-Pacific region, focusing on "Wealth and Opportunity," "Wealth and Thinking," "Fortune and Change", "Wealth and Responsibility" and "Wealth and Industry". Through the forum summits, it provides services for establishing exchange and cooperation platform among the political, business and academic parties. The forum owns Asia Wealth Club, holds annual exhibitions and publishes the "Asia Fortune Forum" magazine. The Director-general of the Directorate of the Form is Zhang Siqing, the Vice-Chairman of 10^th CPPCC Committees. Liu QiBao, Party Secretary in Sichuan, Hu Chunhua, Party Secretary in Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region, and Qin Guangrong, the Governor of Yunnan province, are members of its Advisor Committee. A group of experts, company presidents, foreign ambassadors and other Council members serve as its members of the Directorate.
