The General Assembly for “Outstanding Achievements Awards of Scientific Research in Colleges and Universities “by Ministry of Education was held in the Great Hall of the People, on December 30th, 2009. State Councilor Liu Yandong attended the meeting and delivered a speech. Professor Lu Jinyong, Director of UIBE RCFDI, was invited to the ceremony and received the award certificate.
The book written by Lu Jinyong and Yu Jinsong, " the New Theory about International Investment Treaties and Agreements", (published by People's Publishing House in 2007) was awarded Third-Class Award in Book/Monograph Category, with Award Certificate No.: Education and Social Science Certificate (2009) No. 453.
The afternoon of January 7th, 2010 welcomed the conference for “Summing-up of Research Works in 2009 and Training for New Projects “, held in the International Conference Hall of Chengxin Building. President Shi JianJun and Vice-President Zhang Xinmin attended the meeting.
Zhang Xinmin summarized the research achievements of our school in 2009, and then announced the list of winners of “Outstanding Achievements Awards of Scientific Research in Colleges and Universities (Humanities and Social Sciences category)” of our school in 2009. President Shi JianJun presented awards certificates to the winners, Professor Lu Jinyong, Lei Guangyong and Wang Yonggui.
President Shi Jianjun delivered an important speech after the award ceremony. Facing the current status of our school's research, he hoped that in order to push our research work to a higher level in the coming year, all teachers enhance the sense of urgency and duty, strive together and concentrate on research.
