On Aug. 28th,2012, invited by Dep. of Outward Investment and Economic Cooperation of MOFCOM and “China Business Update” magazine, Director of FDI Research Center Professor Lu Jinyong, part-time researcher Xing Houyuan (Vice President and Researcher of CAITEC) and part-time researcher Hong Junjie (Dean and Professor of SITE,UIBE) Participated in Experts Forum of “10th Anniversary of FDI Statistics” hosted by MOFCOM, in order to commemorate the past 10 years since the regime was officially published. Building FDI statistics regime is the fundamental project of implementing “Going-out” strategy and developing overseas investment, and 10 years’ implementation of this regime witnesses the rapid development of China’s overseas investment. During the forum, experts discussed the foundation and evolvement of this regime, and posed suggestions on how to perfect it and invent statistical indicator system which not only conforms to international standards but also holds Chinese characteristics.
