Vice President of International Institute for Sustainable Development visited FDI Research Center |

On Nov.10th,2012, Vice President and Executive Director of European Office of International Institute for Sustainable Development Mark Halle, Senior Researcher of Global Green Growth Institute Dr.Simon Zadek and Special Advisor of International Institute for Sustainable Development Yu Xiaowen visited FDI Research Center and discussed on the topic of relationship between sustainable development and international direct investment with Professor Lu Jinyong, Director of FDI Research Center. During the discussion, they talked about the issue of sustainable development involved in China’s use of foreign capital and outward foreign investment, especially in the fields of mining, energy, forestry and water conservancy facilities construction. They also discussed the issue of research cooperation between FDI Research Center and these two institutes in the future.
