On September 1^st, 2016, four specialists of Tianjin free trade area visited FDI Research Center and had a discussion, including Jiang Guangjian who is sole duty deputy director of Tianjin free trade area management committee and Tianjin commission of commerce inspector, Fang Yong that is deputy director of general office in Tianjin free trade area management committee, Wang Qingsheng who is deputy director general of comprehensive reform bureau in Tianjin free trade area management committee, and Zhao Lei who is deputy director general of comprehensive coordination bureau in Tianjin free trade area management committee. Professor Lu Jinyong, the center director and professor Yang Guoliang, a Center researcher, received them and developed a discussion with them. During the discussion, director Lu Jinyong and professor Yang Guoliang mainly discussed a range of issues as follows with them, the experience and success of Shanghai free trade area in three years; analysis of the following experiment of Shanghai free trade area; development trend of Tianjin free trade area and the other two second group of free areas in the future; influences of the establishment of the third group free trade areas to those previous ones; Adhere to the basic function, how to highlight features in the development of free trade areas; future development of free trade area influenced by the downturn world economic growth.
