On April 9th, 2016, conference of Chinese Multinational Enterprises Development Report (2015) (hereafter shortened as Report 2015) and seminar of establishment of global industrial chain led by Chinese enterprises were held in our university. It was official release of the domestic first annual report on the development of Chinese transnational corporation, Chinese Multinational Enterprises Development Report (2015), in our university. Report (2015), edited by Lu Jinyong, Li Jianming and Yang Liqiang, was one of the research achievements of Think Tank construction in International Economy and Trade Department as well as one of research output of Collaborative innovation center on Chinese enterprises to go global of our university. The dean of International Economy and Trade Department, Hong Junjie hosted the report conference.
        The conference invited Wang Huiyao(Director of China and Globalization Think Tank, consultant of the State Council), Huo Jianhua(former director of CAITEC, researcher), Wu Changqi(executive deputy director of the IIMBA in Beijing University, professor), Chu Yuxin(Vice president of Yiyang Group), He Manqing(Foreign Investment Institute director of CAITEC, researcher), Chen Wenlin(division chief of Ministry of Commerce of Foreign Investment and Economic Cooperation Department), Sheng Jianming(Chief trade experts of Global Government Affairs in Huawei Technologies Co Ltd), Lan Qingxin(Assistant Dean of Institute of International Economy in University of International Business and Economics), Ding Jihua(deputy dean of research division in Beijing New Century International Company Research Institution), Yang Liqiang(dean of China's Foreign Economic Research Lab of Institute of International Economy in University of International Business and Economics), and other well-known experts and scholars to attend. Meanwhile, Lin Guijun, deputy president, Lu Jinyong of International Economy and Trade Department, FDI center director and Yu Xingfa, Press President of our university and part of graduate students attended the conference.
 
  
       Deputy president Lin Guijun reviewed changes of domestic transnational corporation study, spoke highly of Report (2015) research value, encouraged research group to make persistent efforts and release more high quality reports and papers in order to promote the construction and development of Think Tank in our university. Then, FDI Center Dean and chief editor, professor Lu Jinyong introduced original intention of Report (2015), main contents, outstanding features and writing design in the following reports. He remarked, Report (2015) consists of five parts, which are the overall analysis report, special reports, analytical report, case reports and list and literature, which covered theoretical problem, political problem, strategic problem and operational issue of Chinese transnational corporations. Professor Lu collected the latest opinions of nearly 20 experts and scholars in the field of domestic transnational corporations aiming at hot and difficult topics. Yu Xingfa, Press President of University of International Business and Economics made explicit explanation on the Report and pointed out publishing house would give service to Think Tank construction and academic study centering on “Wu Xue”.
 
       After the conference, participants of experts and scholars and entrepreneurs developed an in-depth discussions on Report’s topic, which is construction global industrial chain led by Chinese corporations. Researcher Huo Jianguo delivered his view on overseas mergers and acquisitions tide. He thought overseas mergers and acquisitions could help Chinese corporations enter high and mid grade of industrial chain, which is also an important method of construction global industrial chain led by Chinese corporations, however, overseas mergers and acquisitions has greater risks, and Chinese corporations need to raise consciousness of risk, according to Huo Jianhua. Professor Hong Junjie summarized some features of overseas investment of Chinese corporations and indicated that we should put them on the agenda of making our own regulations and pushing plurilateral investment regulation and negotiation. Professor Wu Changqi mainly illustrated his ideas and views on construction global industrial chain led by Chinese corporations from the perspective of transnational corporations’ management. Vice president Chu Yuxin introduced “Stepping out” process of Yi Yang Group and put forward some suggestions on promoting private companies “Stepping out” from the perspective of enterprises. Researcher He Manqing shared his opinions on cross cultural management during the process of corporations “Stepping out”. Professor Sheng Jianming recommended its successful “Stepping out” experience of Huawei Company. Researcher Lan Qingxin gave his views on construction global industrial chain led by Chinese corporations. Ding Jihua, deputy dean, mainly discussed the importance of compliance management to the development of transnational corporations. Associate researcher Yang Liqiang generated main features and trends of global cross-border mergers and acquisitions according to the cross-border mergers and acquisitions statistics released by UNCTAD, and he highlighted some problems which Chinese corporations should pay attention while they merge and invest in overseas. Hou Shaoli, associate researcher of China and globalization Think Tank, introduced the products of globalization of Chinese corporations and analyzed the difficulties of establishing global industrial chain by Chinese corporations.
