At the end of 2014, the Department of Commerce started competitive budding of topics related to "13^th Five-Year Planning" Business development plan. After handing research outline and application form, displaying PPT, oral defense, experts’ evaluation, publicity and signing contracts, Professor Lu Jinyong in our department won a bid and undertake a major research project, titled The Research on the Arrangement of the New-era “Going Out” Strategy.

      The aim of starting topics related to “13^th Five-Year Planning” Business development plan is to offer theoretical and data support for the following framing of “13^th Five-Year Planning” Business development plan. The Department of Commerce designed altogether 10 major research projects this time, and other units who undertook the projects are  the Chinese Academy of International Trade and Economic Cooperation,  Macro Economic Research Institute of the State Development and Reform Commission of the people's Republic of China, Development Research Center, State Information Center, Peking University and China Foreign Affairs University.
