Introduction
Established in 2008, the International Economics and Finance Society China (IEFS China) aims at supporting research in international economics (including international trade and finance) by promoting the academic exchange among Chinese researchers and researchers across the world, so as to facilitate and enhance collaboration among economists from academies, governments, and industries. IEFS China conferences will be organized regularly to provide a forum for economists from around the world to gather and discuss cutting-edge approaches to the challenges of the world economy.
The Second IEFS China Conference
Organized by the University of International Business and Economics (UIBE), the second conference will be held on May 22-23, 2010, in Beijing, China. Submissions of all fields within the broadly-defined “international economics” are welcome.

Submission for Presentation
Submissions must be made through the web link: http://www.accessecon.com/pubs/IEFS2010/ on or before March 28, 2010. While we prefer papers in their entirety, we also welcome submissions of extended abstracts. Submissions should include a title, JEL code(s), keywords, and an extended abstract (up to 400 words). Note that all papers will be presented in English.

Presenters are welcome to submit their papers to The World Economy, which is planning a special issue on Asian trade and investment. Submissions must reach the following address by June 30, 2010: World Economy, Guest Editor, Eden Yu, College of Business, City University of Hong Kong, Kowloon Tong, Hong Kong
Presenters who are interested in submitting their papers to International Review of Economics and Finance, Journal of International Trade and Economic Development, Pacific Economic Review, Review of Development Economics, and Asia-Pacific Journal of Accounting & Economics may approach the editors of the respective journals during the conference or visit their journal websites. There could be other possible special issue(s) to be announced later.
