Ambassador Zhou Wenchong sent thank letters to our university

Recently, Ambassador Zhou Wenchong, General Secretary of Boao Forum for Asia and alumni of our university sent thank letters to the attendees of the Boao Forum for Asia Free Trade Agreement, namely, Wang Ling，Secretary of Party Committee of our university， Lin Guijun, Vice-Principal of UIBE, Prof Hong Junjie, Dean of our school and Prof Bai Shuqiang. Ambassador Zhou extended his thanks for their contributions to the successful holding of Boao Forum for Asia in 2013.
The Asia FTA Forum, held in Jimo City on Jun 20 2013, a coastal city in east China's Shandong Province, was organized by Boao Forum for Asia and Qingdao municipal government. It was co-organized by Asia Development Bank and our university, with support by both Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Ministry of Commerce. It has been the second time of our university to cooperate with Asia Development Bank as well as Asia Boao Forum to hold this forum.

In recent years, China has beefed up free trade negotiation and construction. China will facilitate economic reform by implementing opening-up strategy.  During a new round of regional economic integration, our university has play a proactively role in serving national strategy and providing intellectual support for China’s opening-up. The Annual Report of Asia’s Regional Economic Integration edited by our university will be submitted to all the delegates of Boao Forum for Asia, which has huge influence on society.
