讲座题目：Multi-battle Contests with Competing Battlefields

讲座摘要：This paper examines a two-player multi-battle contest in which （i） players differ in their effort cost function and （ii） battlefields generate different prize valuations to players. Competition in each battlefield is modeled as a generalized lottery contest. The organizer of each battlefield can impose an identity-dependent treatment—i.e., multiplicative bias—on contestants that varies the competitive balance of the playing field. Organizers simultaneously announce and commit to their contest rule and then players simultaneously decide on their effort entry across the battlefields. We verify the existence and uniqueness of the subgame perfect Nash equilibrium of the decentralized competing contest game. In the unique equilibrium, each battlefield is completely leveled in the sense that players have the same winning probability.

主讲人简介：汪紫珈，中国人民大学经济学院讲师，新加坡国立大学经济学博士。研究领域为应用微观理论，包括拍卖理论、竞赛理论和信息设计。研究成果发表（含接受）于Journal of Economic Theory, The BE Journal of Theoretical Economics和Annals of Operation Research。
