讲座题目：Advice to PhD students
讲座摘要：What should PhD students do while in the PhD program? What should be their goals? How to publish papers in English language journals? What are good research ideas? What are the many common mistakes that PhD students make with papers they plan to submit to English language journals? How to approach coauthoring? What should you do immediately after finishing your PhD? The speaker will share his insights and opinions based on his 30 years of experience in academia （the last 13.5 years in China）.
主讲人简介：
Kenneth A. Kim现任同济大学金融学教授，此前为中国人民大学教授、纽约州立大学布法罗分校（SUNY-Buffalo）终身教授。在SUNY-Buffalo期间，他曾担任金融学博士项目主任，以及管理学院所有博士项目的主任。他的研究成果已发表于Journal of Finance、Journal of Business、Review of Finance、Journal of Financial Intermediation、Journal of Corporate Finance、Journal of Banking and Finance、Journal of Financial Markets、Journal of International Money and Finance等期刊。同时，他也（曾）担任Journal of International Business Studies、Journal of Corporate Finance、Journal of Financial Research、Finance Research Letters、Financial Analysts Journal、Journal of Behavioral and Experimental Finance、British Accounting Review、Pacific Basin Finance Journal、Journal of Multinational Financial Management、Journal of Financial Stability、Journal of International Money and Finance、North American Journal of Economics and Finance、Multinational Business Review等期刊的副主编、编委会成员、特刊客座编辑和科学管理编辑，每年均入选 “中国高被引学者”。
