 Collaboration

SITE has an international faculty team and a diversified body of students, and has built up a world-wide collaborative network.

SITE has established a long-term partnership and research cooperation with a good number of foreign universities, research institutions and international organizations, including the United Nations, the US International Trade Committee, the Australian government, the EU and the World Bank. SITE is the only member in China to have joined UNCAD’s Virtual Institute Network of Academic Institutions. SITE has established several collaborative research centers with partner universities, such as the joint Research Center for International Economics with Washington University, the joint Management of Technology Study Center with Northumbria University, and the joint Service Trade Research Center with Adelaide University.

SITE has developed several joint degree programs with foreign universities, including the joint undergraduate and Master’s program with Northumbria University, the joint undergraduate program with Cardiff University, the joint undergraduate and Master’s program with ESCE in France. SITE is one of the first universities in China to have initiated academic exchanges with foreign academic institutions. Currently UIBE has short-term exchange programs with over 100 universities and institutes in more than 30 countries or regions around the world. Other forms of cooperation with foreign universities include: global classroom (joint with Columbia University) and joint lecture, joint supervisory of Ph.D. students, and the short-term visiting scholar exchange program.
