Yiping Xu, associate professor of the University of International Business and Economics, received his B.A. (1994) from University of Science and Technology of China, and his M.Eng. (1997) and Ph.D (2000) from Chinese Academy of Sciences，and his Ph.D (2005) from Simon Fraser University.

His field of study is the empirical finance and the international trade. Recently his main research interest is to study China’s financial markets and monetary policies
