Rick Goings Chairman of Tupperware Brands Corporation visited our university

On June 4th Rick Goings, Chairman and CEO of Tupperware Brands Corporation visited our university and made a speech.
 

 

Tupperware Brands Corporation’s headquarter is located in America with 70 branch companies around the globe. It has established its factories in America, France, Australia, Japanese, Korea, China and etc. It has been listed in Forbes Platinum 400 and named as one of the World’s Most Admired Companies by Fortune Magazine for 6 years consecutively. In 2000, Rick Goings was granted Marco Polo Award by State Administration of Foreign Experts Affairs of China for his contribution in China’s economic development. Before China’s accession to WTO, Rick Goings urged the US government to keep permanent and normal trade relationship with China, which has greatly facilitated China’s accession to WTO.

 

In his speech, he emphasized the importance of replicable business model as well as the significance of innovation. Audiences actively interacted with Rick Goings. In the end, ambassador Sun Zhenyupresident of China Society for World Trade Organization Study made a concluding speech.
